    En Colombia conviven 102 pueblos aborígenes y se hablan 65 idiomas precolombinos, dos criollos de los pueblos afrocolombianos, el romaní, la lengua de señas y las múltiples variantes del castellano. Estas lenguas se encuentran en condiciones minoritarias y minorizadas; situación que las pone en alto riesgo, con grandes amenazas de morir. Para subvertir esta problemática se vienen desarrollando diferentes procesos educativos, para reconocerlas, valorarlas, respetarlas, enseñarlas y revitalizarlas mediante su uso social. Estos procesos han surgido, fundamentalmente, en tres ámbitos sociales: el movimiento indígena, el Estado y la academia. Se busca dar a conocer las complejas dinámicas y los lentos aportes que vienen haciendo estos procesos al fortalecimiento de las lenguas indígenas, especialmente del departamento del Cauca.     El presente trabajo de fin de Master se enfoca en la creación de una unidad didáctica que tiene como tema central la lengua kichwa y Tsafiqui, el género discursivo elegido para desarrollar la unidad es la exposición oral, con ello se busca mejorar dos aspectos, en primer lugar valorar las lenguas originarias así como su impacto social y mejorar las intervenciones expositivas de los estudiantes del colegio nacional San José de Minas, ubicado en la Provincia de Pichincha, cantón Quito. La elección del tema central responde a los resultados obtenidos en la encuesta aplicada a la comunidad educativa del colegio. El desarrollo de las actividades permitió mejorar las habilidades orales y escritas de los alumnos, también se pudo implementar las estrategias aprendidas a lo largo del proceso de formación del Master, conocimientos valiosos que han mejorado la realidad y calidad de nuestras clases, siendo los estudiantes los principales beneficiarios The present work of end of Master is focused on the creation of a didactic unit that has as central theme the language Kichwa and Tsafiqui, the discursive genre chosen to develop the unit is the oral exposure, with it seeks to improve two aspects, in the first place To evaluate the native languages as well as their social impact and to improve the expository interventions of the students of the National college San José de Minas, located in the province of Pichincha, Canton Quito. The choice of the central theme responds to the results obtained in the survey applied to the school's educational community. The development of the activities allowed to improve the oral and written skills of the students, also it was possible to implement the strategies learned during the process of formation of the Master, valuable knowledge that have improved the reality and quality of Our classes, the students being the main beneficiaries.
